Rob Mulla

Data Scientist, AstraZeneca

Rob is a data scientist with over 10 years experience building machine learning solutions in various industries including: energy, hospitality, and pharmaceuticals. He is also a 2x Kaggle grandmaster and is currently ranked 52nd in Kaggle competitions tier.

Ken Jee

Data Scientist, Scouts Consulting Group LLC

As the Head of Data Science at Scouts Consulting Group, Ken spends his work days improving the performance of athletes and teams by analyzing the data collected on them. In his free time, Ken dabbles in entrepreneurship and content creation. He is best known for his YouTube channel where he helps over 100,000 people navigate the data science landscape. He enjoys making commentary and project videos that make the fields of data science and machine learning accessible to everyone. More recently, Ken has turned his focus to project based learning through Kaggle. He hopes to share the processes that data scientists take when approaching Kaggle competitions and new data-sets. He started the #66DaysOfData challenge to help people create the habit of learning and working on projects every day. In his free time, Ken enjoys golf, fly fishing, yoga, and cooking.

Tucker Arrants

Data Analyst, Pacific Life

Tucker Arrants is a physics and philosophy graduate from Chapman University currently interning as a data analyst at Pacific Life in Newport Beach, California. He spends much of his free time on Kaggle where he is an Expert in the notebooks category with a highest ranking of 109 out of 145,000+ data scientists. When he isn’t coding on Kaggle, he’s playing tennis.

HP Host: Andrew Kemp

Data Science Segment Lead, HP

As the Z by HP data science segment lead, Andrew is a dedicated to establishing key partnerships in the data science, AI, and machine learning space while working with colleagues to bring innovative solutions to market. When not working, you can usually find him hiking with his family, shooting photos on 35mm film, or speaking about North Korea at places like Facebook, Google Ideas, Creative Mornings and university campuses.

NVIDIA Host: Karan Jhavar

Lead Product Manager, Data Science, ML & AI, NVIDIA

Karan Jhavar is the product lead for the Data Science platform at NVIDIA, where he leads initiative for SW for data science laptops and workstations and end to end data science experience. Karan has more than 10 years of experience in the technology industry, spanning security, embedded systems, consumer electronics devices and deep learning (computer vision). His current focus to improve end to end workflow of individual data scientists in order to improve productivity.
