Introduction

Date: July 14, 2020
Time: 8:00am – 9:00am PT
Duration: 1 hour

As the world shifts to working remotely, geoscientists and engineers in the Energy industry need access to the same tools and solutions they rely on in the office to help them maintain productivity and efficiency. NVIDIA and our partners offer a broad set of solutions to elevate the remote working experience, allowing users to stream their most robust applications and datasets—from anywhere on any device—with a native workstation-like experience. This enables geoscientists and petroleum engineers to maintain maximum productivity from anywhere and provides CIOs with peace of mind as data never leaves the datacenter or cloud. Learn how to overcome the challenges of traditional VDI for any Oil and Gas workflow.

In this webinar you will learn:
  • The benefits of NVIDIA virtual GPU (vGPU) technology for virtual workstations.
  • Why Kosmos Energy chose GeoComputing's RiVA appliance for remote visualization and high performance geoscience computing while working from home.
  • The best way to cost effectively manage large-scale virtualization deployments and minimize business disruptions.
  • How to securely host sensitive information in the datacenter, enabling work-from-anywhere without compromising performance.
