Introduction

Date: Tuesday, July 18, 2023
Time: 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. PT
Duration: 1 hour

Learn how NVIDIA GPUs in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure pave the way for affordable and fast high-fidelity computational fluid dynamics (CFD) and discrete element modeling (DEM). We will showcase CFD use cases for aerodynamics, aeroacoustics, water management, and particle simulation for the manufacturing industry.

These complex simulations are computationally expensive and, if implemented on pure CPU systems, are typically constrained by available computational resources and prohibitively long runtimes. This has been a roadblock for integrating high-fidelity simulations into simulation-based design cycles in the past. Join Altair, OCI and NVIDIA to see how CFD and DEM users can drastically improve turnaround times while reducing hardware and energy costs.

In this webinar you will:
  • Learn how Altair ultraFluidX and Altair EDEM leverage the massive compute power and memory bandwidth of NVIDIA GPUs to power ultra-fast CAE simulations.
  • See how OCI and NVIDIA jointly design, implement, and support the highest speed GPU clusters that CFD users can tailor to their specific needs.
  • Get your questions answered in a live Q&A session.
