Introduction

Date: Tuesday, September 12 2023
Time: 8:00-9:00 a.m. PT
Duration: 1 hour

Simulation is an indispensable tool in the ever-evolving field of robotics, particularly in the industrial setting. Engineers can now virtually design, test, and optimize robotic systems before physical implementation, unlocking immense potential for innovation, safety, and cost reduction

In this webinar, industry experts from MathWorks and NVIDIA will demonstrate the seamless connection between MATLAB and NVIDIA Isaac Sim™ through ROS. This integration not only empowers precise physics-based control of robots, but also processes realistic simulated sensor data within the robotic system. We'll demonstrate how to use this integration with workflows for manipulator and mobile robot applications.

In this webinar you'll learn:
  • How to connect MATLAB, Simulink, and Isaac Sim through ROS
  • The workflow that enables realistic environments, accurate physics, and virtual sensor inputs
  • How machine learning is used to develop autonomous task operation.
