NVIDIA WEBINAR
The energy industry is undergoing a digital transformation. Advanced technology can mitigate risks, increase efficiency and reduce uncertainty in integrated production and reservoir systems. In the past, the demand for higher fidelity reservoir models, more accurate simulations, and ensemble modeling has severely challenged even the most modern CPU-based and hybrid reservoir simulators. Learn how NVIDIA partner Stone Ridge Technology is working with customers to embrace this digital transformation using ECHELON, their powerful, ultra-fast, and fully GPU-accelerated reservoir simulator.

Karthik has been with Stone Ridge Technology for 7 years and passionately leads the ECHELON development team. He received his BS in Mechanical Engineering from the College of Engineering, Guindy in 1999 and his PhD in Mechanical Engineering and Applied Mechanics from the University of Pennsylvania in 2005. Karthik has more than 10 years of industry experience as a lead in developing commercially successful HPC codes using C++, CUDA-C++, and Python for CFD and Reservoir Simulation. Prior to joining Stone Ridge Technology, he was an R&D Technology Manager at Dassault Systemes, SIMULIA (formerly, ABAQUS), and a lead developer of Simulia CFD, a commercial finite volume multiphysics moving-mesh flow solver.
Marc leads NVIDIA’s Energy vertical with responsibility for setting NVIDIA’s strategy and business development efforts for Oil & Gas and Power Generation & Distribution. Before joining NVIDIA, he spent 13 years with Halliburton, a global oilfield service company where he held positions in Commercial and Strategic Alliances, Technology Operations, Customer Financial Services, and Corporate Development. Prior to Halliburton, Marc worked for Silicon Graphics, Inc. (SGI) where he held a variety of sales and business development roles focused primarily on the energy vertical. Marc holds an MBA from Rice University in Texas and a Master of Science in Professional Development and Leadership, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Winona State University in Minnesota.
