NVIDIA WEBINAR
Today’s business environment requires global collaboration and maximum productivity from distributed engineering teams. Working remotely presents a unique set of challenges for engineering and manufacturing teams whose work typically requires in-person meetings and hands-on involvement in the product development process. Some companies were ahead of the curve. One of them is Boston Scientific Corporation, who developed a virtualization strategy prior to the pandemic that’s now helping teams make a smooth transition to our new way of working.

Matt spent his first nine years at Boston Scientific Corporation (BSC) in equipment engineering. He led a task force to select BSC's new global CAD tool and selected SolidWorks in 1998. After implementing SolidWorks globally, he led the implementation of SolidWorks PDM Professional in 2008. SW PDM is now integrated with Windchill 11 at BSC. Matt is currently leading efforts to build out the electro-mechanical tools and processes at BSC by implementing Altium, SW PCB, and workflows that enable a shared global library of electrical components.
Having held positions at Caterpillar, Autodesk, Fictiv, and Kaiser Aluminum, Mike has helped many companies solve a wide range of business challenges throughout the product development process. Mike's experience with early-stage companies, hardware venture capital firms, additive manufacturing research, closed-loop sensor networks, and generative design provides him a unique perspective on the rapidly changing landscape of manufacturing.
