Introduction

The energy industry has pivoted towards incorporating transformative technologies, including artificial intelligence and machine learning (AI/ML), within operations and corporate strategies. However, the disparate nature and opacity of black-box AI algorithms, together with a lack of understanding of limitations, has hindered the widespread growth of digital transformation across the industry.

This webinar outlines the approach taken by Beyond Limits, an industrial-grade AI technology company, towards transparent Cognitive AI, and implementation of novel solutions in the upstream and downstream industries, by leveraging GPU-accelerated model-free, deep reinforcement learning.

By attending this webinar, you'll learn:

  • The role of GPU-accelerated techniques towards enabling breakthrough AI calculations in energy, including geological modeling, multiphase fluid dynamics, and reservoir management.
  • How AI is transforming process optimization by accelerating the pace of decision-making within refining teams.
  • How transparent, auditable Cognitive AI is making waves in industries that traditionally lean heavily on domain expert and institutional knowledge.
