Peter is a veteran CG animator with over 30 years of film, TV, game, VFX, and physically-based rendering production experience. He has an extensive 3D software development background having done stints with Wavefront, Blue Sky, Autodesk, and Softimage before joining NVIDIA as Product Manager in 2010. A long time Maya animator/TD, he evangelizes for Iray® as well as mental ray®.

Barton Gawboy now designs the user experience of mental ray in Maya, aiming for leaps in productivity while retaining flexibility for high-quality final frame delivery. For over 25 years, he has worked in computer graphics production, from CPU and framebuffer design in hardware to skeletal animation and rendering in software.
